Upload it, snap a photo, or just tell us the numbers.
No problem
Leave your info and we'll either call you to walk through it together, or you can come back once you've got your bill handy.
So we can call you and walk through it together -- no need to track down the bill first.
Reading your bill
This usually takes a few seconds.
Check we read it right
Confirm or fill in the numbers below.
Some offers (like battery backup) are only available in specific ZIP codes.
The company that owns the poles and wires โ may be the same as your provider, or different. Filled in automatically once your utility is detected above.
The one number everything else is built from. If your bill shows something like "1,513" with a comma, make sure it wasn't read in as "1.513."
Just the electricity-itself portion, not delivery โ usually its own line item on the bill. Leave blank if you can't find it.
Filled in automatically when we can read it off the bill (including bills with separate Daytime/Nighttime rates โ we calculate the real blended rate for you). Look for something like "1807 kWh x $0.12000000" on the Energy Charge line if you need to enter it yourself.
A flat monthly fee that doesn't change with usage โ often its own line labeled "Base Charge" near the Energy Charge. Only fill this in if you also entered the energy rate above; if you entered the Supply/generation charge below instead, it's likely already included there, so leave this blank.
The poles-and-wires portion, billed by your utility. Together with supply, this can fill in your all-in rate even if the bill doesn't print one clean total.
Use "Total Current Charges" (or similar), not "Amount Due" -- amount due can include a past balance, payment, or credit that isn't part of this period's electricity cost.
Many bills include a usage-history graph or table covering the last 12 months. If yours does, add up (or read off) that total here โ the yearly savings figure below will use your true average usage instead of just this one month, which matters if this bill happens to be from an unusually high or low month.

Homes with existing solar or a wired whole-home generator aren't eligible for the battery backup bundle -- we won't include that offer if so.
